you can actually play external sound in your bh... as for 13000 BC what i did was i had some real good internal pooling sound inserted in this sound , so basically what u hear is just part of the full sound.
Referring to your above question, to be honest i rather stay conservative when come to internal sound ! adding more internal sound always do the trick.. as for the excitement level maybe what you can consider is changing your internal pooling sound. So far this method has been really delivering for my bh.
Note: 13000 BC is an entrance & internal pooling sound unlike our normal INternal Sound , so therefore you still need your internal sound :)
thx for the advice .. basically external sound should be turn on 24hour too ? currently i turn off hex and external at 7.45 and open internal sound for 24 hour only sorry i ,m still new :(

tested this today as Hex to see it's effect!! I think now i know what wiki means by external sound suitable for internal roving and those that are have some TOO EXCITING LOOP.
i had tried this sound with hex.. the result is pretty average , however when i used this for entrance hole and internal pooling i tend to see the real effect from this sound.. very likely it is my own birds who are responding however the good thing is birds really likes this sound...
in terms of reliability , considering the numbers of loops and the content i had the feeling this sound should be able to lasts for 1 week or maybe 2 . but if we used for internal pooling i think this sound should be able to deliver accordingly to the main purpose as internal pooling ..
when time comes maybe all of u will be able to enjoy the final results of my recent very interesting sound i am had been working lately .. and obviously this sound will be part of it as well :)

wow you guys have been really actively sharing .. so much i miss out lately... hehe
i was too excited with my new sound , spent too many long hours with my bh lately ... the online viewing only help me to understand certain angle of birds responds ..
for the last 1 weeks i had been experiencing very mix results the weather is almost the same with what summer is experiencing.. i notice many birds too busy preparing their nest and the one playing around my bh must be the other half of the birds preparing nests + some new birds responding to my internal pooling (i had my internal pooling played for 24 hours , 1st 3 days was very exciting after that birds go back to their normal routine)
Looking at the birds behaviour this is one good moment for us to identify which hexagon sound is really delivering considering our own birds and other bh birds will fly back to their nesting spot earlier compared to normal days. so average evening crowd is pretty acceptable but good news the % of right segment birds will definitely be higher. This is just my assumption :)or another way to comfort ourselves from being panic haha!
Btw, sorry for the late information guys please don't damn me hehe i just overlooked.
I have one more question for all of u , do u think we should encourage our birds to spend more time at the internal pooling tweeter?
To make our birds stay overnight at our internal pooling tweeter is pretty easy actually but i am really worried as we change our internal pooling sound this may turnout against us .. as u can see we never know how good our internal pooling sound until we tried it , too much changing , i worried might slow down the nesting process. let's brainstorm in this area.
I using xredwave and xwave 2 , 4 on my hex and EH2 for external around 1 week , bird circling my hex and keep in and out at EH on morning 8.30 but i got less bird on evening :( , any 1 can advice me ??
Hi Sky, my morning hex sounds same as yours and the response is okay but for evening, i play V46 & V42 and it's still good after 3 weeks. I notice a lot more bird shits now. I used Victory Ext for entry hole.
Hi sky, u might need to check the sound slot being play during morning time. Find out which sound tat can attract more birds and u slot it in to play around the evening time. As for my case, i found XWAVE3 is the best to play during evening slot. You need to know the sound sequence so you know what time should play what sound. Hope above can help to improve ur BH...
Sky: sorry, I'd used v33+v46+v42 for the evening session. U need to observe when the birds start to appear in the late afternoon to start the evening session. Xredwave wow effect lasted too short during the evening session, so i'd put it into the morning session together with xwave 2 & 4.
Also, observe the the most frequent period (about half hour or so) when most birds appear and then slot in the best sound in your sound sequence to pull them into the bhse. U must program your sound sequence as mentioned by Tigerwui.
Good sharing by lawrence .. one thing we can never tell you when is the best time because every bh have different set of time .. if you are located at highland the result will be different from lowland so if anyone tells u to follow a secret formula programme sound , please remember to do your homework . the moment u successfully break the da vinci code for your bh , you will then understand why i always said all sound is actually good sounds as long as it is a swiftlet sound..
Evening time slot will play XWAVE3 for 1 n half hour which mean from 6pm til 7:30pm. This is the moment where more birds response to the sound. As my BH located at the flying path, those return birds will stop by to play a while before they moving back to their own BH. As for before 6pm, i use XWAVE4. As mention by Wiki boss in previous sound project, u can play the sound sequence in pooling + booster + pooling + booster...
My next plan is after using that sound for 1 month or when birds start feel boring with that sound, i will rotate the sound sequence to make those birds feel excited again.
Few things you need to do before buying a new swiftlet sound.
1st Remember to ask yourself how many category of sound you need for you bh . - some ppl prefer only 2 (internal & external) - - some might have up to 5 categories (internal,external, hexagon pooling, internal pooling & internal environment)
So how many categories of sound you prefer ? :)
2nd please take some effort to understand the sound , only person can explain to you is the creator of the sound . opss
3rd HOW MUCH ?
4th Ask for reimbursement if not working (Just Joking)
I have a little recommendation on "buying" swiftlet sounds..which i never tried b4, if dont turn out well pls don't blame me hehe
Here it goes.. -Try not to buy online!!You will not meet the author and u can't make new friends :) -Dont buy from distributor or pasar malam!!They can't promise u anything and it may make the author angry with u if u happen to meet them later -NEVER buy any sounds that's priced over RM1000!!
So when,where and what price can we buy them from??? The answer is pretty easy, if you can fork out rm1000 for a single not sure working sound.. use them to attend those famous sifus Pak Henm,H,J,E seminars!! Not only they always free gift their new sounds, products to the seminee.. YOU GET TO MEET AND KNOW THEM!! ASK THEM ABOUT THE SOUNDS eTC!!
Please note that all those above are jus my little recommendation, if anyone were to hate my opinion .. please dont do so..

Sorry, I'd to disagree with Summer about spending the RM1k to attend seminars of those famous sifus in return for goodies such as sounds, etc. Not all 'famous' sifus are that good.
My bhse was revamped by one of these famous blogger sifu and I was very disappointed by his lack of experience & knowledge shown by his revamp works. Some more, he got the guts to give seminars, acting like a 'sifu' to those newbies. Keep the money and go buy & read some books on swiftlet farming better..:)
@Lawl One bad apple doesn't means all the apple in the basket are rotten.
Why i recommend attending seminars rather den buying those sounds? By attending, you will attain far more knowledge+exp den jus plainly a new "sound"??

Just imagine the main sound as your Framework like a car once you plus with extra turbo and all the necessary parts you get a whole car but yet please do not forget about the type of tires (the extra booster) with the right tires we will be able to excel further, depends to the weather conditions..
so all this again lead me to my new project sound : 1 sound as body framework + 4 sets of tires (same sound) .. But what really fascinating is you get different performances.
Do u think this new sound technique will really works ?

Will this sound offer real reliability to reach the finish line?

-Dont buy from distributor or pasar malam!!They can't promise u anything and it may make the author angry with u if u happen to meet them later
-NEVER buy any sounds that's priced over RM1000!!
So when,where and what price can we buy them from???
The answer is pretty easy, if you can fork out rm1000 for a single not sure working sound.. use them to attend those famous sifus Pak Henm,H,J,E seminars!! Not only they always free gift their new sounds, products to the seminee.. YOU GET TO MEET AND KNOW THEM!! ASK THEM ABOUT THE SOUNDS eTC!!
Please note that all those above are jus my little recommendation, if anyone were to hate my opinion .. please dont do so..

DeleteSorry, I'd to disagree with Summer about spending the RM1k to attend seminars of those famous sifus in return for goodies such as sounds, etc. Not all 'famous' sifus are that good.
My bhse was revamped by one of these famous blogger sifu and I was very disappointed by his lack of experience & knowledge shown by his revamp works. Some more, he got the guts to give seminars, acting like a 'sifu' to those newbies. Keep the money and go buy & read some books on swiftlet farming better..:)

Suara SE(G2) memang bagus sekali cuma sayang durasinya pendek.

Just imagine the main sound as your Framework like a car once you plus with extra turbo and all the necessary parts you get a whole car but yet please do not forget about the type of tires (the extra booster) with the right tires we will be able to excel further, depends to the weather conditions..
so all this again lead me to my new project sound : 1 sound as body framework + 4 sets of tires (same sound) .. But what really fascinating is you get different performances.
Do u think this new sound technique will really works ?
What type of framework will be looking at ?
Will this sound offer real reliability to reach the finish line?
