I need to clarify the difference between golden wave and coming home .. GW is a pooling sound like Ew ,unlike CH where I will use for my entrance hole to lure birds into bh .. my bh using more than one external sound that is the reason I had to specify the sound purpose as much as I can in order to avoid birds find themselves really confused.. one thing good about CH is eventually it will help to lure in new birds to stay overnight , not many but few at. least ... all in all , if we have the options why not blast few enternal sound , to cover all the three segments of birds like own birds, young birds, and matured birds ... without the matured birds I doubt any young Birds will notice our bh ... note morning session , the young birds normally follow their parents out before they start their adventure... this is just my thoughts :)

this sound is definitely a "constant crowd puller" endless
stream of young birds are coming and some may have left...
However, it is not such a bigger crowd puller as compared to
GoldenWave...just fascinated at the sight of watching so many
birds around...

Atually one of the reason some sounds work in this time of the year is because now moswt of the young birds have matured and started to fly out to mate and continue their cycle of life :)

The best part of swiftlet sounds always is the best selection of Swiftlet sound. The one key to differentiate one bh from another. especially at this time around .. for my case I will definately go with SE at least I am able to attract most of my baby birds remained within my bh obviously plus some new once as well :)

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing Awaken sound with me. It's a really good sound. I think continuous really suit to describe this sound. Today is the 3rd day i monitor this sound, birds have been playing excitedly and queing up in front of entrance.
With the introduction of Awaken sound, my bh reach the 100 birds mark today. Thank you Boss Wiki, your advice and sounds shared have brought my bh from stagnant 40 to 100 birds today.
One question i like to ask Boss Wiki and frens, how do we keep this effective Awaken sound to be always fresh and interesting to the birds? should we intergrate it into sound program?
Ignore the sound programme just go for SE origins for ur hexagon .. This sound should be able to last for some time maybe it is the current season and birds not moody enough to ignore the sound , again which is really good for my point of view , just keep our fingers cross everyday we will be able to convinced more young birds to say overnight..
DeleteIf u really considering to cover more segment of birds , try to play more external sound for your bh maybe using ur bazooka (Targeting matured birds).
Again Swiftlet sound is one thing but end of the day it always goes back to our bh design and our type of tweeters we are using...

DeleteReferring to your concern about young birds rather fly high and more matured birds occupying your entrance hole - 1st thing may i know which sound you choose for your entrance hole? If u seriously willing to take the risks i would recommend victory inap or maybe u can also consider Coming home (with more external sound)
As for greenstar, this is really good sound i had tried this sound for my entrance hole sound before and the results seems to be great.. Are u still using this sound for your Entrance? Just for ur info i had more than 1 entrance hole sound which is up to 4 at the moment , my main 2 entrance hole i hardly change unless it is really so not effective.
Note: If u have more than 1 entrance hole try consider 1st for matured birds , 2nd for baby like Vi & 3rd Mating .. This method works for my bh but the lighting entering my bh is really challenging ..

DeleteBut if ur bh is already populated like 100+++ nests try not to change the design unless stagnant .. cuz from MY view, old birds they memorized the path to their nest in their brain. When come back home, they often dont look and fly straight according to their memories.

Halo wiki, thank you for advise. Anyway, my entrance hole only one, and coz, i tried to avoid risky experiment. Btw, this coming weekend i will try victory inap (partnership with SE Origin)to replace coming home. i will inform you the result. For your information, Greenstar seduced aroud 150 darling within 2 month when i start open my BH. But after that, stagnant until now and only hoping small chick to grow up faster.

SE (Booster) & SE AAA still doing great installed since 1/5. Even dry season many babies inside. Anyway, not sure anything to do with the 2 pooling sound.

Full moon final challenge ... Are we really looking at real Endless SE sound or just another SE sound ? Prepare for the Next Storm Guys . Let's all of us keep our fingers cross .
ReplyDeleteSurprising after almost a month plus the full moon sign , SE Origins , coming home & come home still delivered the consistent and endless results:
Delete12pm : Birds still responding
1pm : More baby birds
2.35pm : Internal & external very crowded
To confirm my reading i hope Mr phuc from vietnam and all the rest of the region can share some feedback. Your reading is very important to our research and also important to assist in my next future sound! Thank you .

Conclusion : Most of the birds responding may just be my own birds , however this month is unlike all the previous months , birds not ignoring sound even the full moon. All in all, SE Origins is definitely a reliable sound, may not be the one sound but Reliable Sound.
I hope someday someone will be able to invent THE "ONE" SWIFTLET SOUND AND THE REAL ENDLESS SWIFTLET SOUND. Till the day come let's just enjoy our Swiftlet Journey ..

ReplyDeletemy experience with SE Origins at hexagon after over 1 week:
Morning session: small crowd playing to sound
Afternoon session: none playing, only own birds returning straight home
Evening session: very small crowd
although the crowd is mostly small but i can see the birds are still playing in excited manner with the SE Origins sound. circling and chasing around.
although the crowd is small, but the total birdcount is increasing steadily in small numbers. hope SE Origins will continue with its magic.

ReplyDelete3pm-4pm+ 20-30 flying at the high sky lol .. around 2-3 come down play .. 5pm+ non bird ~ 6.30+ around 20 birds play at the EH ~
How about the numbers of birds inside your bh? The thing with Babypooling sound is in a way it will limit down the numbers of excited birds however only reason why i am still stick with this sound is merely because my bh just happened to have enough own birds to boost the effect of this sound "Crowd Pooling" . Again end of the day it is all still depends to how this birds evolve surrounding your locality, there is no right or wrong but, i just prefer to manage my bh in probability & percentage/ratio method.
DeleteI be honest, having 20 to 30 birds come and go within 3pm-4pm & any hours of the days having 20 birds playing your Entrance hole excluding internal birds count is actually quite impressing, but no birds around 5pm is really something we need to look really close into , there are few reason part of it will be the swiftlet fooding behaviour and also the sound excitement.
Let's try to understand how certain sound works better than another. The truth about swiftlet sound is all sound is equally good but we differentiate the sustainability level based of swiftlet segment. Mating sound will attract those matured and unmarried (Limited), Adults sound will have biggest segment but majority non target but yet it is very important if u believe in Crowd pooling theory and now we are talking about baby pooling + a little bit adults & mating which is even smaller market but very effective to keep your own birds remain excited within your BH sound coverage - good news is if ur bh is matured enough your own birds will do most of the talking where i call this as "Crowd pooling."
So again , how are we going to balance this equation ? :)
This is something i not going to share , try figure it out or you can try ask your consultant to enlighten you.
Note: Having few sounds delivering the results is nothing new if any consultant say you just need to use 2 miracle sound, i am afraid he must have real miracle sound unless you are referring to very successful BH where u don't even need sound.
Tips of the day : medley Episode 5 + Episode 1 + Episode 5 + Episode 2 + Episode 5 + Episode 3
(This method will easily make your birds excited and some sort of balance effects or try any of your favourite sound)
Note: I had tried the above combination and the results is great.
* Looking for bigger crowd? try pooling sound Instead! *
Btw, Till today i still find it very impossible to identify the one sound that can avoid birds from flying away right after 6.45pm (THis is real Mission Impossible) anyone willing to help we to solve this Impossible mission :) ? Please email me thanks
- Nearest to the solution is make sure your insects is attracted to your light just right before 6.25pm and remain active till 7pm. (Use a blower if necessary lol)

Actually my dad didnt hire any consultant lol .. i research it all by myself , inside around 6-7 only .. maybe my bh still new no more than half year .. somemore my bh dragon hole design and these bird need a time to learn jump down inside the monkey house to NR .. i just bought insect powder to attract bird come down .. hope it can be success !~ thx for enlighten me boss wiki ~...

DeleteI see dragon hole design as something more advance level , i did try my using dragon hole entrance when i first started but i failed miserably! Whenever come to dragon hole desing i am definitely the Last person you need to seek opinion from ... haha
Btw as for the insects concern, a 5watt bulb is just good enough to attract your insects fly out from your insect box .. in terms of the effectiveness , i had to say absolutely yes insects helps to ensure the growth in our bh!
I am sure you heard about swiftlet six sense when come to insects/food. This apply to even in your bh , if u want to direct them to your empty new vip room. Having insects in your bh is as good as upgrading your bh status to higher stars like 4 stars hotel ..
Just imagine all your swiftlets spend lesser time flying far away from your bh looking for food , more time making babies , chasing after girls and lesser % of being captured by predators (eagle) in their daily routine ! Wow that will be a real 4 Stars BH Hotel !

Deletehere is my Eh that looking up from 1st flood ~ and my Eh is facing to felda hehe .. oh more thing should inform wiki boss .. never have bird play at my bh at noon .. after i used awaken .. finally i can see the result !~ Thx u so much wiki boss !~ one more thing is should i play different sound for the internal pulling at LAR EH ? they excited playing at the lmb but not much birds fly down to NR ...

I learned some insect tricks down the road .. and it turnout to be very effective for BH.. what you can try to consider is place the insect box even in the nesting room but make sure the corn porridge smell is properly neutralize.
DeleteAttracting this insect using light sometimes not so effective so what i did was i had a fan come with timer to blow this insect out from the insect box , something i learned from boss jasmin :) U should really try to figure out what i meant hehe!!
As for preparing the insects i leave it to you to decide, my case i had to prepare the corn porridge myself because i find it very difficult to buy any insects powder in vietnam maybe the local might know.
