ReplyDeleteI hope this sound can help me solve my main problem for my BH. It seems like almost 100% of the baby birds will not stay back at my BH. From a friend's advice, he request me to lower down the internal sound volume and another person tell me the internal sound shouldn't include adult bird sound. Anyone here got any idea what is the best way to solve this problem?

DeleteReferring to your concern, I am sure majority of BH owners face this same problem otherwise we will not be seeing increase in new birds in our BH .. This is just part of this demanding birds behaviour, they come and go and i categories this segment of birds as the "SWIFTLET SCOUT."
Good News you are asking the right question and this is NWO Primary Objective.
To ease your thoughts, lowering down the volume may be one of the solution if your internal volume is a little 2 high. What you can do is lowering your nesting room volume but maintaining a slightly higher volume for your roving area sound and your empty or less occupied nesting room sound.
As for the adult internal sound etc. victory inap, to be honest i only used for my roving area merely as a playground for this birds (at one time) and my West Wing EH where i will only select extra internal sound. Purpose to convince the birds My BH Surrounding is a paradise zone (Secure & Content sound made by this baby birds in the dawn and night, sometimes even when they are sleeping)
Try this method
Nesting Room - go for normal Internal sound like babyking or Desire inap or Internal Heaven for NWO Fans
Roving Area - sound like VictoryInap or "hehe" NWO "rave Party" which is very inline with Internal Heaven . Birds will be glued into this sound in the afternoon once they survey your internal BH.
Entrance Hole - If you only have one EH my advise is try not to change because EH sound changing is actually quite risky . Although your own birds will definitely find their way in but might not fully apply to your naive young baby swiftlet. (MAIN PROBLEM)
Hexagon - Too much mating might not attract this baby birds because they are just baby :) and worst if your Hexagon is sending extreme mating message chances your own married birds might spend more time somewhere else again baby birds normally follow their parents. Time factor - MORNING Something to think about.
Note : Consideration - Outdated EH sound might reduce your %ratio of luring new birds to your internal but able to reduce the % of your own baby birds able to find they way home. However, your own baby birds will take up to 6 or 8 mths to mature and worst the male tend to follow the Female .. Opss..
Changing EH Sound - Also very subjective because were are still referring to 60% failure 40% success rate on getting new birds.
All in all, we are human, our hand tend to get itchy now and then. Sound changing already became our habit. My advise , if you prefer to follow my method :
At least 2 Entrance Hole , Primary and secondary (Exit EH). Try maintain the Primary EH but your secondary EH you can change as you like. If possible secondary EH must come with Extra Internal sound. Purpose to balance your BH Crowd Segment ( I notice young baby birds quite attracted to EH with extra internal sound)
Internal Sound , if possible try not to change , especially the nesting room already with birds. But you can work on your less occupied nesting room, try humor your birds with new methods till you achieve your desirable population. Once you successfully achieve move on to your Subsequent nesting room If you bh come with many Nesting Room.
Roving Area , I would definitely go with NWO internal roving sound, reason because i am getting really good results, ever since i used NWO combination. Seeing so many birds within my BH, best part this birds fly in slower motion and harassing my tweeters compared to all other internal roving sound i had tried. Ho Ho Ho!
LASTLY, How many sound should we used for our INternal BH ?
for NWO i am using up to 4 sounds for my roving area - equal to 2 player using left & right method. Each sound covering like only 4 tweeters or 1 chandelier. Type of sound as long as you able to follow the natural habitat you are safe.

ReplyDeletePlease be informed that the incomplete editing version sound is a little bit extreme compared to the certified version. Try listen to the sound and try to perfect the 1st 1st 20 seconds to make the sound smoother. Not for sharing please. :)
SO next Question is how to create a maze in your BH?
Proposed Method : unoccupied nesting Room (Square design Nesting Room)
- 1 chandelier at the center : Internal Rave ft Victory Inap (Level of Excitement : Extreme)
- 4 Corner - Internal Rave Party
- Nesting Plank or Nesting Area : Use any of your favourite Internal sound my suggestion try babyking or Desireinap or Internal Heaven
Note: 3 sounds / 3 wirings / 2 players
In addition, if you have a straight lenght of flying area try this Entrapment combination .
1st chandelier : moderate sound (etc. NwO)
Note : Nearest to Entrance
2nd chandelier : Extreme/Excitement Sound (etc.Int Rave ft.VictoryInap)
Note : Center of your BH or Empty Nesting Room
3rd chandelier : Internal sound or victoryinap ORI (Internal sound)
Note : End of your BH
This birds will spend more time harassing your Extreme chandelier and your Internal Chandelier
Note: 3 Sounds / 3 chandelier / 3 Section of your BH Design. Play with the volume level if you are afraid this birds will get confuse. Base on my bh I come to understand that they normally don't get confuse.
I understand many of you might find this very inconvenient especially we are talking about setting up the wiring to support this nesting room sound concept and also finding the right moment to enter your BH :).
I spent 1 and the half hours for one simple Square size nesting room just merely setting up the wire 7 tweeters, 2 cctv and one chandelier . Sad but true because i had to do it all by myself. :)
Nothing Come Easy unless we decide to take our 1st step to explore further, The results will determine your effort being cherished and appreciated by your beloved birds ..
