I have been using this sound for almost 2 mths replacing Victory inap for my internal excitement! Obviously the results is Superb!

i used this for internal pooling and L shape pillar as for center sound I still stick with pure internal sound
Deletefor instance Nesting Room A with At least 100 birds and above - Nesting Plank desire inap 1, center sound I used desire inap 3 and Nesting Room A VIP room I used Desire Inap 4 ( NO External Sound)
This method is so much more safe compared to having IE3 and above for Center sound! ..
However, if your Nesting room is not populated by birds that is where i would suggest you go with IE3 and above for center Sound and Pure Internal for Nesting Plank , and VIp room make still sure remain Pure Internal sound! If you need a internal pooling sound to get this birds into this Nesting Room Then make sure not more than 3 tweeters with slightly louder then your internal nesting plank sound but never as loud as your roving area sound volume. This method you can have your internal pooling sound play for 24 hours.
Note: my internal pooling sound still change back to below IE3 Sound in the night considering as long as there is tweeters with sound birds should be able to fly around in the dark!
My population still below 50 birds , I will the method boss wiki mentioned before , use high ie for center sound from morning until evening only , mean 24 hour sound programme :)

good morning bro wiki, i have a question .. if i just using 1 sound for my internal sound, can i using this sound for it ? any side effect ? what in my mind is we can get more birds to stay with a bit external sound here, but might not mating or laying egg as pure internal sound , am i correct ?
ReplyDeleteMy advise is still at least 2 pure internal sound for one BH . I am sure somehow your bh must come with more than 1 Nesting room Partition .. So Having More than One Room Partition is as good as having more than 1 Nesting room in your bh!
DeleteWhy i always suggest 2 internal sound for one BH is simply because from my experience .. out of 10 successful bh 7 come with more than one Internal sound! Excluding the wild swiftlet bh for sure!!
Having 2 internal sound within your bh somehow will convey a message to this birds to decide which NR Within your BH they might want to consider staying, as compared to 1 Internal Sound where Birds have no options but to decide which BH to make nests !
2 internal sound also helps to increase the odds of selecting the right Internal sound for You bh! and also allow your to work on more try and error when come to internal sound selection , best part less distraction to your existing birds! ..
Note: Main internal sound preferable remained as it is.
Second internal for your unoccupied Nesting Room. Repeat this method till you successfully occupied all your NR in your BH!
Referring to you another concern about attracting more birds and less nest statement !!
Put it this way, Many of us misunderstand the reason why out of 100 birds occupying our nesting room and only 20 % making nest .
- The Sound may not be the 100% main reason , please understand there are high possibilities out of your 100 birds 50% maybe more is too young or inmatured to make love. As for the matured one somehow 20% still yet able to find their love one! Worst scenario the Matured male might just end up in unknown BH .. Male what do you expect!
And some BH don't even have sufficient fake nests for their NR .. Please Understand Swiftlet is one Lazy Birds and very intelligent birds! So Fake nest is very Important if you want to start a colony of birds in your bh!
So Now try to do your maths!!
- Another Scenario! let's assume all your birds in this NR-ONE is matured living in couples, occupying most of the fake nest and some corners with full real nest !
SO Queston Now is Can we include additional External Sound For this NR-ONE?
The Answer is Obviously Yes You can ! BUt I won't because why would i take the risks . Besides I am sure in one BH there will be at least few more very Poor Performing NEsting ROOM !
WORK on your Poor performing Nesting Room .. Install few CCTV , Challenge yourself to bring the best out of this not performing NEsting ROOM! AND TRUST me within 3 weeks you will see results and you will be surprise new birds prefer to stay in unpopulated nesting Room or maybe the existing colony is pretty unwelcoming! So Just Attract this birds to any of your not performing NR . Let's this birds play around for few days if there like it eventually they might just end up in your NESTING ROOM - ONE or VIP room ..
WHATever External sound Method you adopt for internal , best bet is still use your sound programme , change all IE5 level Sound to Below IE3 ! this is a much more moderate approach!
SPECIAL REFERENCE : This is how 0 population nesting room normally evolve .
Use the try and error method change your internal sound till you see birds really responding to your NR ! 1st week normally u will see 1 to 3 birds ..
Do not underestimate this 1 - 3 birds
week 2 - sometimes they just left the nesting room
2 to 4 days later - 6 to 10 birds will start occupying this room
week 3 - suddenly increase in numbers of birds surveying your bh!
week 4 - if you are lucky you will get 30 birds ! this is where you stop playing around with this room .. let it be ! and next thing you know many of your fake nest will be taken up! and eventually stagnant at 100 birds ops!
1 to 2 mths later still stagnant !! opss
Which 1 is preferable pvc fake nest and styrofoam ? coz fake nest kinda expensive ~
Deletehard to tell.. i notice my bh birds accept both .. styroform seems to get bigger nests compared to pvc fake nests and if ur plastic fake nests come with cotton , i find that the saliva really glued together with the cotton..
Deleteagreed with u since we are not talking about 10 fake nests but by hundreds .. each nesting room with 300 fake nest can cost u up to 700 already

ReplyDeletesifu ask yr opinion, do u have any idea to populate lowest floor? seems majority were occupied top floor. i plan install chandelier with this sound at lowest floor perhaps to improve population.
ReplyDeleteU need an Exit entrance for your Ground Floor ! this may sound controversial but this is how things work if you ask me!
DeleteTry to sacrifice one part of your ground floor session open a small entrance hole! so that birds can fly in and out !! Next thing you know your birds will be flying for top to ground floor and fly out from ground floor exit and then fly back up to main entrance hole!!

thanks yr advised sifu, i use LAL as lower floor entrance. my difficulty pulling less bird to lowest floor, pulling tweeters at LAL doesn't perform well i think, i neeed to figure out a way to improve lowest floor excitement, any idea?

Update! Superb effect of Skyfall tested this morning 8-10am.
Seeing these birds dive into my entrance hole and a lot them flying In/Out..
But my setup is only 2 horn tweeter at the each entrance hole shooting the sky. Will check the afternoon effect later today.
