Few things i fine tuned :-

2. Change to any of your successful sound at 5.30pm
3. Flush some Insects to the sky
4. repaired my water pond located just outside my EH
5. Sit and Pray :)
In this 4 minutes video you should be noticing more and more birds gathered within my bh sound coverage , Birds unable to play with the entrance hole due to strong wind (check out how the tree move around).
DeleteEnd of the day , big increased in numbers of new swiftlets occupying my L shape tweeters. So why bother whether the birds playing with our entrance hole or not if we can still get new birds as long as this birds stay within our bh sound parameters!

To be safe just play with your hexagon sound . If your bh have more than one EH yes you might want to consider play with your second EH as well .
DeleteThis video was recorded yesterday 27/9/2012. To be honest i personally still puzzled trying to understand what i had did to bring my bh to such life environment for 4 days in a row.
I don't think it is the sound , but i am certain i did something. :) ???
Past few days, strange behaviour. No birds seen playing at BH during evening. Even neighbour BHes also empty. Normally I looked at neighbour BHes to gauge level of activity. Could the haze be causing this problem? The last few days are pretty bad haze days.

ReplyDeleteMy sound test with 2nd phase Dark Knight project sounds are not successful yesterday.
Date: 28 Sep 2012
Weather: Very hot, sunny, no wind and heavy haze.
Sound test time: 3.30 pm til 6.30 pm
Sound tested at L shape tweeters at 2nd EH: Prototype B, OB-1, OB-3, September Internal Pulling
L shape tweeters (internal sound): Desire Inap 1
EH sound tested: SEV77, Victory Inap, Marvelous Cloud, kGOD, Ngod, Sgod, Xgod, Prototype M.
Hex Sound: Awaken, SIB, Hala Langit, SEV52, SEV46, SuperAAA, Tongkat Ali
I tried many combinations with the above sound, but i cant attract birds to get into playing mode.
Some mating base sounds like Hala Langit can gather the birds but only for short while and only outside bh.
The birds can be seen flying in the sky and drinking at water pond.
When i change into sounds they like, they just came and circle near EH but not interested to enter bh.
After few rounds they just fly off again but they can still be sighted around the bh.
I wonder if its the hazy weather that is causing the birds to not responding to sound?
I will try again during my next visit to bh.
Meanwhile, i can see some new birdshit spots near the place i installed lighting in nesting room.
And the beer topping is really good in attracting the fruit flies as compared with yeast topping.
I will try with the earlier switching on of EH light bcos i always notice some birds will stick on the lighting during come home time. I suspect mayb they are new birds?
Is it advisable for me to install another lighting at 2nd EH? will it cause fear to my existing birds? Pls advise Boss Wiki and frens.

Deletei don't think birds actually afraid of light ,my opinion - lighting for your eh2 should be fine , as long as you do not on for 24 hours.
ya same with you guy after retrieve cctv from bh i saw not much bird maybe hot day will continue try

my good run finally ends today... started to feel the ignoring period effect like you guys .. tried my super avenger combination lol not working as well ... really funny how come this birds have almost the same behaviour irregardless which country our bh located.

According to my full moon apps , september full moon supposing to be our harvesting moon , if you are in corn business i am sure you know what i mean.

ReplyDeleteYeah the respond seems to be very mix for the last few days ... no longer seeing constant excitement in my bh .. Unable to report on my external.

My Dark knight Nesting room i estimate now at least 100 birds already , some birds even migrated to this room and immediately occupying my fake nests.. thanks master
